Workshop Description

Throughtout the world, many cultures recognize a person who confronts the spiritual aspects of illness. This person is called a shaman. Shamans diagnose & treat illnesses, divine infomation & directly communicate with the Spirit World. They journey into "Non-Ordinary Reality " - working with power animals & spirit guides. The Q'ero(Inkas of Peru) work directly with Mother Earth & the Apus (their sacred mountains).

We will journey into Non-Ordinary Reality by using a drum beat that will alter your brain waves from alpha to theta & get you in touch with the heartbeat of Mother Earth. I am a Alto mesayoq in the lineage of the Q'ero Inka Mystical Tradition, am a mesa carrier & Caretaker of the Earth & the Apus. I also have been trained in Shamanic extraction & soul retrieval by Sandra Ingerman of the Michael Harner Foundation for Shamanic Studies, do house & land clearings & spirit releasement with people, animals & land. We will create sacred space & an altar together. Then we will journey on several topics that will assist you in letting go of whatever no longer serves you so you can walk forward on your spiritual path with truth, dignity & peace of mind. We will shed layers to then be renewed & rejoice with dancing & singing. A community group healing will occur at the end of circle.

Bring your drums, rattles, any sacred articles, crystals, ect. for the altar, rug, pillow, bandana or eye cover, your voices & playfulness. We will have fun & play !!! We are all here to be of service to Mother Earth so be open to the numerous possibities !

Blessings, Dawn
